Hay,
My name is Sergo. I am from Armenia, and my artist name is Sergo Artsakh. I grew up during the war. At that time we didn't have gas, electricity, water, and sometimes even bread. We made our toys from wood or cotton. We had only one ball for all our neighborhood, but we were happy. It was a tough time for our parents to keep the border, keep their families and raise their kids. Some parents didn't return from the war, and we had to share everything with their kids because they gave their lives for our country, and for us. During the war, we learned to see the beauty almost in everything and in everywhere. It was hard, but my parents bought me a few photo cameras and taught me how to take my first photos. My Father passed his great love of photography to me. At that time I dreamed to become a pilot, fly very high, and travel around the world. Now, after many years from my childhood, I am here in the United States, and a few years ago I got a Certificate of Professional Photographer from the Glendale Community College. During all these years I was inspired by the photographers Yousuf Karsh, Julius Shulman, Ezra Stoller, and Ansel Adams. These Great Artists helped me to create my own style of photography. I am thankful to my College and my Professors Karen Emmett, Amy Oliver, Kathryn Russell, and Anita Bunn, who helped me to rise and become a professional photographer. I hope, through my eyes, you will discover something new and unique in the photography world and will enjoy my works. I believe that beauty is love, and love will save our world.
